MANITOBA PNP

PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM PATHWAY TO CANADA

ADVANTAGE OF MPNP.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is an immigration program that allows the province of Manitoba to nominate foreign workers, international students, and entrepreneurs who have the skills and experience needed in the local labour market.

Upon receiving their nomination, candidates can directly apply for permanent residence status to the Canadian federal government, making the immigration process expedited and efficient.

If you’re unsure of how to begin your immigration journey, our team offers a consultation service where we can evaluate your unique circumstances and recommend the most suitable immigration options for you. Our focus on personalized solutions ensures that every client receives the highest level of service and support throughout their immigration journey.

  • When you receive a nomination from the MPNP, you do not need to go through the hassle of obtaining a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) before applying for a work permit.

  • Once nominated by the MPNP, you can use this as a pathway to apply for permanent residency through the Provincial Nominee Program, which allows you to settle and work in Manitoba permanently.

  • When you are nominated to MPNP under the Express Entry stream, you can receive an additional 600 points in your Express Entry profile. This significantly increases your chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.

  • If you receive a nomination from the MPNP, you are eligible to apply for a work permit while waiting for your permanent residency application to be processed. This allows you to start working in Manitoba while you wait for your permanent residency status.

  • You have the options for various categories of National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. This means that individuals with different skill sets and occupations can apply for the program, making it accessible to a wider range of potential immigrants.

Skilled Workers in Manitoba: This pathway endorses candidates with strong ties to the province through ongoing employment, and who possess the requisite skills, education, work experience, and language proficiency.

Skilled Workers Overseas: This stream welcomes foreign workers who exhibit a strong link to Manitoba through family or friend support, prior education or employment in the province, or through an Invitation to Apply received directly from the MPN.

International Education

These are the pathways under the International Education Stream:

Career Employment Pathway: This pathway accelerates the nomination process for post-secondary graduates who secure enduring jobs in Manitoba within their field of study, particularly in high-demand occupations.

Graduate Internship Pathway: This pathway expedites the nomination process for international students with master's or doctoral degrees who contribute to Manitoba's industry innovation through internships.

International Student Entrepreneur Pilot: This pathway offers an annual quota of 20 international graduates from Manitoba the chance to embark on entrepreneurial ventures instead of seeking traditional employment.

Business Investor

These are the pathways under the Business Investor Stream:

Entrepreneur Pathway: This pathway attracts and nominates global entrepreneurs who plan and have the capability to relocate to Manitoba, and either start, acquire, or partner in a business after arriving in Canada on a temporary work permit.

Farm Investor Pathway: This pathway welcomes individuals possessing a proven track record in farm business operations, adequate capital for investment, and a commitment to setting up and managing a farming enterprise in rural Manitoba.

Federal Immigration

Several alternatives exist for skilled workers aiming to settle in Manitoba via federal economic immigration programs such as the Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades Program.

Moreover, non-economic immigrants, like spouses and eligible family members of Canadian citizens or permanent residents, may qualify for immigration to Manitoba under the Federal Family Class.
