NOVA SCOTIA PNP

PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM PATHWAY TO CANADA

ADVANTAGE OF N.S PNP

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) provides a pathway to permanent residency for skilled workers, graduates, entrepreneurs, and those who meet the specific labor market needs of the province.

Successful applicants receive a Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Certificate, which accelerates the process of obtaining a Canadian Permanent Resident Visa.

If you’re unsure of how to begin your immigration journey, our team offers a consultation service where we can evaluate your unique circumstances and recommend the most suitable immigration options for you. Our focus on personalized solutions ensures that every client receives the highest level of service and support throughout their immigration journey.

  • When you receive a nomination from the NS PNP, you do not need to go through the hassle of obtaining a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) before applying for a work permit.

  • Once nominated by the NS PNP, you can use this as a pathway to apply for permanent residency through the Provincial Nominee Program, which allows you to settle and work in Nova Scotia permanently.

  • When you are nominated to NS PNP under the Express Entry stream, you can receive an additional 600 points in your Express Entry profile. This significantly increases your chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.

  • If you receive a nomination from the NS PNP, you are eligible to apply for a work permit while waiting for your permanent residency application to be processed. This allows you to start working in Nova Scotia while you wait for your permanent residency status.

  • You have the options for various categories of National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. This means that individuals with different skill sets and occupations can apply for the program, making it accessible to a wider range of potential immigrants.

Labour Market Priorities

These are the two Labout Market Priorities Streams of NS PNP:

Labour Market Priorities Stream: This stream invites physicians with an approved offer from the Nova Scotia Health Authority or the IWK Health Centre to apply for nomination via the federal Express Entry system, but only those who have received a Letter of Interest from Labour, Skills and Immigration (LSI) are eligible to apply.

Occupations In-Demand

The Occupations in Demand stream focuses on specific professions under TEER categories 3, 4, or 5 of the National Occupational Classification that are experiencing significant demand in Nova Scotia's labor market, with the selection of in-demand occupations.
