As per the publicly available information, Marc Miller was born and raised in Montréal. Marc Miller is a seasoned politician with an impressive background. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Political Science from Université de Montréal, as well as degrees in Common Law and Civil Law from McGill University. Before entering the political arena, Miller served in the Canadian Armed Forces as an infantry soldier. He later transitioned into a successful legal career, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on international and commercial law. Miller made history in 2017 when he delivered a statement in the House of Commons in Mohawk, marking the first time this language had been spoken in the House or Senate since Confederation. In 2015, Miller was elected as a member of the Canadian Parliament for Ville-Marie—Le Sud-Ouest—Île-des-Sœur in Montréal. During his tenure, he championed progressive policies aimed at addressing climate change, promoting sustainable development, and enhancing indigenous rights. As the former Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Minister of Indigenous Services, he worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between different communities and foster a sense of unity within the nation.
